Nudist idea #35: Start a blog on nudism

Thanks for the encouragement to start my own blog with my own experience and opinions. and I’m enjoying reading your 100 ideas and I look forward to the rest of them.

Naked and Happy

Every nudist had a first time, every nudist has had nice and less nice experiences with nudism, every nudist has questions that may interest other nudists and non-nudists alike. Nudism is a wonderful topic, so why not start a blog?

Creating a blog with WordPress or Blogger is easy and free of charge. Setup an account and after a few seconds, you are faced with a blank page and you can write your first post. It’s also easy to setup your twitter and facebook accounts and link them to your blog, so you can gain followers. Pay attention though that facebook has some nude policies that will get you banned if you post naked pictures (I will not debate this here, but just be warned).

The Beginning

Strangely enough, I was raised in a strict pentecostal home. Mom herself was a bit rebellious, so fortunately, I didn’t have to worry as much about wearing long sleeves and long pants, but was still very textile and very prudish. My first exposure to nudists — at least where I actually studied what it means to be a nudIST — was when I did an anti-pornography paper and report for middle school. The only thing I remember about it was that one of the things nudists believed was that nudity is natural and lessens one’s desire for consuming pornography. I don’t think that made it into the report, but I really cannot remember.

Fast forward to college. The internet was brand-new and I was brand-new to being on the internet. I have no clue what led me to search for nudism, but I found some great nudist pages back in the mid to late nineties. I would surf for hours going from page to page. I learned a whole lot about nudism, started sleeping nude, and desiring to visit a nude place, but never really had the courage to do so. It wasn’t until I was married, had kids, and was moving to Florida that I took the plunge. Actually, the wife moved ahead of me due to her finding a job and me needing to give notice, plus a couple other things. While she was gone, I found a nudist club fairly close to where I lived and decided to go. I invited my aunt of all people to join me because she had mentioned nudists and had the opinion that nudists are the most accepting people you’ll meet. Ok, kinda weird but let’s do this.

I had a blast.

It’s the only time I’ve been, and that was seven years ago now. I want to go again very badly. I’m divorced now and live with my girlfriend of three years. She knows the my aunt is a nudist (she took to it like a fish to water) but I’ve never told her that I went.
